Holly has been an educator for over 30 years. Her experience as a teacher, reading specialist, elementary principal, and most importantly, a mom of three boys, helped develop her passion for social-emotional learning in schools. Holly is the director of the Grace B. Luhrs Elementary Lab School at Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania. In her free time, Holly enjoys playing games with her family, reading on the beach, planning parties, and walking her dog Leo.
Stephanie has been an educator for 25 years. Growing up in a creative family inspired her to pursue her passion in painting and drawing. Stephanie currently is a third grade teacher at Grace B. Luhrs University Elementary School at Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania. In her free time she enjoys visiting her two children, spending time with family, painting and reading.
Leo is a mild-mannered English Lab who is just as wise and compassionate in real life as he is in the book. When Leo isn't helping children, he enjoys having his ears scratched, going for walks, swimming in the pool, and doggie treats.
